3

Submit a Pull Request

Open a PR with a clear description of your changes and their benefits

Areas for Contribution

Mechanical Design

Improve joint mechanisms, optimize for different manufacturing methods, or design mounting solutions

Simulation & Control

Enhance MuJoCo models, develop control algorithms, or create simulation scenarios

Documentation

Write build guides, create tutorials, translate content, or improve technical documentation

Software Integration

Develop ROS packages, create visualization tools, or build testing frameworks

How to Contribute

Opening Issues

Found a bug or have a feature request? Open an issue on GitHub:
  1. Check if a similar issue already exists
  2. Provide a clear, descriptive title
  3. Include relevant details:
    • Steps to reproduce (for bugs)
    • Expected vs. actual behavior
    • Your environment (OS, software versions, etc.)
    • Photos or screenshots if applicable

Pull Request Guidelines

When submitting a pull request:
  • Describe the changes: Explain what you’ve changed and why
  • Reference issues: Link to related issue numbers
  • Keep it focused: One PR should address one feature or fix
  • Test your changes: Ensure mechanical designs are valid or code runs correctly
  • Follow naming conventions: Use the established naming scheme for components
  • Update documentation: Include relevant documentation updates
All contributions must comply with the CERN-OHL-S-2.0 license. By submitting a pull request, you agree to license your contributions under the same terms.
